Team Overview and Job Responsibilities

What you'll do:

Works under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager to handle all Inbound and Outbound Planning and Execution requirements on a local level.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

· Planning and management of the logistics flows.

· Plan shipping and transports.

· Track inventory to ensure shipments are done on time.

· Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that the goods are picked up on time and with the right equipment.

· Creation of all Shipping Documents such as: packing slip, packing list, delivery and Invoice Posting.

· Constant relationship with internal sales, responsible for sending them shipping documents for EXW shipments.

· Generate all proper documentation for shipments and make sure all items are properly identified.

· Responsible for all courier shipments, constant relationship with UPS/ FEDEX and others.

· Follow up and expedite Scraps, make sure plant always have dumpster availability.

· Assist on the monthly inventory count.

· Receive and tag all fibers and update production planning spreadsheet with batch and part number information.

· Responsible for receiving all raw materials, create Goods receipt, entering in ERP System (SAP) all the required information.

· Responsible for creation/alteration of documents in SAP: Goods Receipt, stock transfer orders, purchase requisitions, subcontractor purchase orders, call-off POs, and others, create deliveries and post shipments.

· Packaging planning.

Who are we looking for?

· Results-driven to effect constant improvement in cycle times, service and inventory turns.

· Ability to plan, organize and pull together information from disparate sources to form a coherent picture of the state of play allowing for scoping of actions.

· Solid logic/reasoning skills which are able to influence and persuade different functional groups within the organization.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills a must (grammar, spelling, typing, listening)

Qualifications:

· AS degree in related discipline – preferred (HS Diploma or equivalent – required.)

· At least 2 years of experience in at least one of the following: Supply Chain; Shipping / Receiving; or Logistics.

· Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment working with SAP or ERP system experience.

· Intermediate or advanced Excel experience – required.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience reporting data, with extreme attention to detail.

· Customer service skills and ability to work with a team or work independently.

· Strong sense of urgency, strong problem-solving skills, and Business Acumen.

· Excellent Time Management Skills, and ability to multi-task.
