Prysmian Group 3rd shift Team Lead in Rocky Mount, North Carolina

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Oversee shift associates and operations in distribution center

  • Promote health, safety, housekeeping and quality initiatives within the entire workplace through LEAN concepts and events

  • Work with distribution leadership team to set achievable performance goals

  • Analyze and interpret performance data on a daily basis to push towards desired outcome

  • Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills

  • Provide input on performance assessments for team members

  • Coordinate efforts with distribution leadership team to meet/exceed KPI’s

  • Participate as a member of the First Responder Team

  • Live and promote Prysmian Core Values (Drive, Trust, Simplicity)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, including; coaching and mentoring

  • Demonstrated ability to promote safety and quality in the workplace

  • Ability to interpret performance data

  • Ability to set and effectively manage changing priorities

  • Skilled in SAP, Excel, Word, Outlook

  • Ability to operate all equipment within the area of responsibility

  • English: Proficient in reading, writing and verbal communication

  • Motivational leader who assumes responsibility
